4-Star - Self catering apartment in the tiny village of Moosham near Lake Abtsee, which is 2 kms from Laufen/Oberndorf. Situated inbeautiful Upper Bavaria we are surrounded by the alps and lakes made famous in "The Sound of Music". This is a superbly appointed top floor apartment with all modern facilities. The 'landhausvilla' has a large garden with pond fed by a natural spring. Visitors have access to their own patio and garden area. Maximum occupancy is 4 persons.

Located in a quiet and sunny position this vacation apartment was completed in 1999 and has been awarded 4 stars by the German tourist association. It was built using environmentally friendly techniques and materials. Local pubs, restaurants and shopping are within a 1 to 4 km radius. For breakfast enjoy fresh rolls and pastries delivered daily by the town baker.

Our guests can enjoy the festivals of Salzburg, which range from operas to music concerts, and the theatre. For our non German speaking guests we can assist you in booking of tickets. Christmas is particularly lovely with local and city christmas market's often in the snow. There is a Casino at Castle Klessheim. The region is well served with many golf courses set in spectacular alpine scenery.

You can also enjoy day trips into  Austria and especially "Salzburger  land".
Visit the Austrian Lake district of Salzkammergut. See the picturesque lakeside towns of Mattsee, Fuschlsee, Attersee, Wallersee, Mondsee, Wolfgangsee, and the Trumer See. 

Do you ski? What about Bad Ischl, Kitzbühel and Hallein all close by. It is possible to buy a ski pass for all the areas within the Salzburg ski area. This is an extremely cost effective way of enjoying the slopes.

Do not forget the german lakes of Chiemsee, and Waginger just down the road.
The mountains around Berchtesgaden and the famous Eagle's nest are without parallel.
What about the local history, or if you prefer just shopping, in Bad Reichenhall, Burghausen, and Altötting. 
Further afield but still within easy reach are München, Rosenheim, and Passau, only a couple of hours by car or train.

  • Occupancy with more than 2 persons, additional charges for any person more € 7 per day.
    For stays of less than 7 days, there is an additional € 30 charge per stay.
     

  • All laundry (includes sheets, table linen, hand, bath towels, and table cloths) and all additional expenses (electricity, water and heating) and final cleaning are contained in the price.
    Internet in vacation home possible with your own Laptop via DSL without charge.
    Baby cot and baby highchair gratis.

  • Price for one dog € 6 per day (only by prior arrangement).

  • Currency conversion.
    All prices are in Euros - the new currency of Europe - the deposit and balance of tariff must be paid for in Euros as distinct from your local currency. The deposit when received must be net of any bank charges levied at either end.

  • Confirmation of your reservation requires a 50% deposit of the total tariff.

  • Arrival 3:30 pm, departure 9:30 am
